Looking to Purchase 2003 TL-S
Looking to Purchase 2003 TL-S
I got a price of $30,000 for the new TL-S (without navigation) from the dealer and want to know if I should continue shopping around or if that is a good price. Also, anyone here from Central/Northern New Jersey and can recommend a good dealer for service ..... I would prefer to buy the car from someone that I will return to for service .... I'm sure that any dealer would honor this price I was given.
Thanks!

I live in NY, so don't know much about Jersey Acura dealers, but have heard alot of good stuff about Park Avenue Acura (do a search on the Acura web site for the exact location / address).
Also, I highly recommend you get this car with the NAVI system, as it's DVD based (no service fee to any provider... how cool is that?). Good luck...

Re: Navigation
I've obviously heard that the NAVI system is AMAZING but .... I just don't know if its worth spending the extra $2000 .... just a thought .... I know that I really won't use it all that often ...maybe just a few times ..........

Can I purchase the extended warranty when My existing warranty is about to expire? lets say the car has about 38K miles on it, Can I just go into the dealership and ask to purchase the extended warranty?
$30k is a pretty good price. That should get you out the door around $32k or so. Not bad at all. That's about what I paid too (I actually paid $30,025
). I bought the extended warranty about 7 months after I bought the car. I shopped around and found the best price since it doesn't matter where you buy your warranty from. It ended up being my dealer, but I priced dealers in FL, NJ, and upstate NY in addition to mine. As long as you buy the warranty within the first year and 12k miles, you'll pay the same price as if you bought it on day one. Good luck!!
Oh and P.S.... I did not buy the NAVI. I use the car for work, so I know where I'm going. Other then that, I get directions and I've never had a problem. Civilization has been using maps for centuries, plus, we have Mapquest
, so I saved the $2k and used it elsewhere....
