Looking into a 99TL forest green
Hey guys,
So a lot of you may know me from before..used to drive a 03 TL-S A-Spec..
anyhow I am looking to buy a 99TL with low mileage. Car has only 150k km so around 90,000 miles for all you foreigners :P
The guy was asking 4500...before even seeing it I got him down to 3800. I am going to try and scoop it for 3500. I have seen pictures and thus far it looks mint on the interior with a couple rust spots on the hood..otherwise no other rust. Body is in great shape..is also has the aero kit which gives me a full body kit around.
All in all it's a nice looking car and I thought for the price it was pretty sweet.
What do you guys think?

ck the normal things, it may need the single port egr cleaning done and a new ignition switch
those are 99 specific items
smell atf as you would on any used car
as a TL owner you know what else goes wrong
I agree with kris= a decent running used 99 TL should get 3500 and come out ok

why the downgrade? i would stay away from auto even though its less problematic than the 5AT. price is good, but lower is always better. i would recommend paying a bit more and finding a 6 speed acura.

1] Maybe one would price negotiate after seeing the car. Sell the seller on why the value is lower than they estimate.
2] Interior may look mint, but the cushions are still 13 years old. Gaskets, seals, tracks, etc., going on 14 years.
3] If the car was garage-kept, you may have a winner here.
