Question Looking for a good bodyshop in New York

Well, my 3rd incident just happened. Someon stole my headlights from my '03 TL, which was parked in a garage. Anyone know of a good body shop in new york area? I need to get it fixed fast, so that I can get rid of the car. I can't afford to keep this car any longer...

Yes, 1st time was in a public garage. Second was during a blockout a month ago; appart from the headlights, they broke the door and the trunk. My insurance is up to 6.5k in NY, and then a week ago they did it again! I am 15k down the drain, and I only had the car for 8 months... God knows it is a good car, I just can't afford to keep it any longer.

Pure Death, PM me and I will give you the info. You can go to the body shop that I go to, he's located in New Hyde Park, off the Northern Pkwy. I've been going to him for a while, and so has all my boys with their CL's, TL's, Accords. He's the one I got my Kit installed from and he's the one Im going to go to to get my BUmper fixed from as well. They do everything and are experienced in aftermarket add ons and also do an excellent job. They have their own Bake shop on site, to do wonderful paint jobs, Im speaking from first hand experience. So PM me and I'll give you the details.

NYDesi,
I'm near the New Hyde Park Area. Can you give me some info on that bodyshop. I'm looking to get a deep key scratch fixed. Thanks in advance.

PureDeath, you are better getting another car. It is frustrating to see people have to worry about their headlights when they park anywhere.

Yes, it has come to a point where I would rather take public transportation, just so that I can have some reassurance that that the car will be there when I get back. Unfortunately not even a private garage door can stop those bastards from vandalizing my car. What was suppose to be a fun experience turned into a full time job. Now every time I take the car somewhere, I have this cloud over my head, constantly thinking if my car is still there, in one piece. It's not even about the money anymore, it's just that every time it happens, it aggrivates me, I have to start the whole process again, of filing a police report, calling insurance, getting the car to the shop, getting a loaner, and then once I do get the car back after a couple of weeks, what am I suppose to do with it? Where am I suppose to hide it? After the blockout, I have put the clifford matrix 3 security system on it, and wired the headlights, and installed the shock sensors, all that 1.4k... Unfortunately that did NOT help. So I am left with the last option, the only option, and the option that I didn't want to take, but are now forced to; is get rid of the car while I still have my sanity.

I guess partially I blame Honda for it, because they didn't offer me an option of getting regular headlights, but who am I to speak? Well, anyways...

I wish they could invent some type of electrical shock system or even blades that spring out from the ballast if they are removed without the key or something, to chop thos mo'fo's hand off!! It pisses me off when I hear stories like this, and then when you go to the civic foruma and somtimes even accord forum, u got those punks buying them!!! Some one elses misery is some one elses fortune.. not a fair world!!

The only way to stop it is to fight back. I'd be sleeping in the car with a surprise. Cops can't do anything about it, only bust your balls if you decide to retaliate.

I said it before and I'll say it again, I'm up for anything to stop this. If anyone wants to get together and use a car as a guinea pig and catch the guys in the act....

Yeah, it would be nice to catch them in the act... Although God was on their side that day, because if I'd cross those bastards who did this to my car, I'd be in jail right now... I would send them into a comma for this!

Although, I believe that sleeping in a car is not a sensible solution, the result from this ordeal might be greater than an inconvenience. Something to consider for a die hard acura tl fan.
