How about KBB or Edmunds site to find out about the MSRP & Invoice prices first ; then call up your local dealers or go through those online carshopping places (if any left ..) Good luck ..

Head over to the Type-S forum and do a search...oh yeah, post specifically where you are in California (OC, LA, SF etc).

I'd just reiterate what shooter said....you're on this forum, which means you have internet access. Use the wealth of information available to you and become informed. And that refers to all aspects of the purchasing experience! Personally, I feel the more informed and educated you are - the better deal you get...

Good luck and enjoy it when you get it!

I paid $31,300 for my TL-S w/Navi. It was $33,900 out the door with everything. I bought mine at Tustin Acura, in So Cal.

I hope this helps.

By the way, TL-S is a great car. I am VERY VERY VERY happy with my car

DaYaM.... You got a pretty cheap price for your TLS... How you get it soooo low? My friend just payed 37 something driveout on his TL-S w/Navi.

I live in the Bay Area but went to school in LA so I'm open to buy a TL anywhere in CA. Purchasing in NorCal is ideal but I'll go where ever I get the best deal. Thanks!

what color are you looking for?
I got mine from Acura of Pleasanton for $32k.
it is hard to find a blue TL-S with Navi. If you want a black or
silver, the price might be a bit lower. Since they have a bit more
cars in stock.

Got TLS w/ Navi silver at $31130 at Mike Harvey Acura
back in July.
(it has wheel lock. OTD price is about $34100). The
tax is about 8%. Later DMV refunds about $200+
registration fee. not bad

Oakland Acura once offered me for $31000, but I didn't
wait long enough.

Pleasanton Acura gave me the best service, but they
wouldn't drop the price back then.

Try them both.

I think the sales tax in Orange County (So Cal) is around 7.5%.

I think your friend got ripped off big time unless he got lots of other goodies like bodykits, spoilers and etc.
