Looking to buy 03 TL or CL
I've test driven the TL and TL-S and the CL and CL manual tranny.
I noticed that the TL and CL base handled quite differently. Is there a difference in the specs/design?
I liked them all. I just have to figure out which one I liked the most. I like the TL base model the least.
I'm going to drive all five again (though I haven't drived the CL-S automatic).
Any ideas/ thoughts?
I am reluctanlty getting rid of my '89 Legend LS with the manual tranny. It's slowly falling apart at 186K.
Thanks for the help.

TL-S. Listen hun. It's just an amazing car. Guys who drive a TL-S are just...well....c'mon, look at the guys on this board. TL-S drivers are f*ucking amazing (I'm an 03 TL-P chick myself - it was decided the TL-S was just "too fast" for lil' KT) - anyway, I would honestly hold out a lil' bit till you see the 04 TLz...cause I think they are gunna be totally ill. I don't know any answers to your specs/design question. All I know is that I LOVE my TL-P and wouldn't give it up for the world - well maybe for an 04
Good luck with deciding!

I'm getting a TL-S in June. Apart from the extra umpff you get with the Type-S I was just really tired of sitting there wondering what life would have been like if I'd gotten the top-of-the-line model after I bought my last new car. After a few diguized mods it is/was kinda fun wasting people with a car they didn't think could.:flamer:

If you're used to manual, I suggest CL-S with 6 speed. If you're sick of manual TL-S. I wouldn't suggest any base models, top of the line is the way to go or you might regret it.

Depends on what you going to use it for. As for me, I use 98% of my TL-P for work and 100% write off on the mileage. The car gets me from A to B and that's all I wanted. I'm not into mods or driving fast since most of the time I'm driving in the city. Basically my TL is my mobile office so I wanted something that has a good ride comfort vs. the stiffness from the S.

If you're not waiting for the 04 TL.
definitely the current TL-S.
They just too sweet for the money!! minus the tranny that is. But the later models are suppose to be built with the "Redesigned" tranny.
No offense CL-S drivers. But if i wanted a two doors, i rather get the RSX-S in which it is smaller and more nimble.
