finally fixed the hole in my foglight with a pre-made lexan shield from Hamony. and also added some new bulbs.

this is my first DIY, so im pretty stoked. anyway, here are some tips for others who may want to try yourself and save some cash.

1. order the premade lexans from NYDesi or Hamony. saves time and running around. buy those bright bulbs while your at it.
2. make sure you know where the foglight screw is and have a long enough socket wrench to reach it. it took me about 1 hr to find it. also, you dont want to loosen other screws under there, your engine might fall off.
3. find a nephew or niece with a small head to look under the car for you. especially if your car is lowered.
4. score the foglight glass with a sharp object so it will be easier to crack.
5. Marine Goop (adhesive and sealer) is a good alternative to Epoxy (pure adhesive) or GE Silicone (pure sealer).
6. fix the crack or hole as soon as possible or else the silver paint inside the foglight will tarnish.
7. a fork works well in prying the foglight out of the bumper. make sure you wash before using.

hope this contributes something to the forum. have a great day.
