Lease Price of TL Type S:What do ya think?
Hi all,
Just went to the delaer and offered a 03' TL Type S w/o Nav., for $385.00 a month no money down except for first month and bank fee. I was wondering if this is a good deal.
Here are the numbers: .0024 money factor
65% residual
Tax included in the price
Got to check for disposition fee
Thanx in advanx :wow:

Great price, assuming no accessories (spoiler, body kit, navi). What is the money factor and residual value percentage for 3 years.
FYI....my 2003 TL-S w/o Navi, accessorized with spoiler, body kit, and visor...paid $32,000 paid tax, title, reg, fee upfront with an additional $1500 TAS. Residual was 58% and money factor was .00230 with Honda Finance. My monthly payment is $362 for 48 months, 12k miles/yr
What about tax, is that included too? Are you getting any accessories, if you are I'd jump all over that quote!!

Sorry about that. Here are the numbers everyone is looking for.
The money factor was .0024
The residual is 65%
The terms were 3yrs/12000 miles
No money down except for inception costs of course. Tax is included in the $385.oo figure.

Something doesn't sound right. Either you got yourself a killer deal or he's low balling you. If I figure this out right and your numbers are right, your getting the car for a little over $28,000 including tax, fees, reg, etc.
Are your sure your numbers are right?
28,000 x .65 = 18,200 (residual)
28,000 - 18,200 = 9800 / 36 = 272.22 (base rent)
28,000 + 18,200 = 46,200 x .0024 = 110.88 (finance charges)
272.22 + 110.88 = 383.10 per month
If these are legit, I'd be driving a new TL-S tommorrow!!!

I agree those numbers seem incredibly low. I just got mine just under 2 weeks ago and thought I had gotten a hell of a deal:
03 TL-S w/o navi
48 mo/12k per yr
first month & tag up front
380/mo including 7% tax
This worked out to be just over $28k cap cost, 61% residual (just over $17k) through AHFC. I'd like to think I got a smokin deal.
