My dealership said "Have fun with this car, but remember, you got a Type S. My Record was a totalled CL-S within 24Hours, and I don't ever want anyone else braking that record."
My friend's dealership was pretty cool. They actually took a picture of him and the his TL when he bought it. But this was like 4 years ago, when the new designed TL first came out.

When we got our TL it was basically, here sign these papers, here's the keys, take care. Before doing that the dude spent about 5 minutes with us showing us how a few things in the car work. No Navi demo. Then he told us to do a walk around and make sure there were no scratches and stuff. One thing that was interesting is that when the sales rep went to unlock the door a kid popped out. So obviously the car wasn't locked to begin with.
Now when we got a Saturn way back in '98 that was a whole different experience.
Those people know how to sell a car.
First of all, it was cold outside. They brought the car inside. The sales rep spent about 15-20 minutes showing us how everything worked. We then went in and did all the paper work. Then before we got ready to leave the whole friggen sales staff (plus a few other staffers) came over and sang some saturn cult song to us.
That made us feel great about the Saturn. Much better sales experience than the Acura.
