Kuda vs Pro-Fit VSM vs ProClip for SIRIUS
Looking for opinions on the following 3 mounting options for a SIRIUS Starmate4: Kuda, Pro-Fit VSM, and ProClip.
Some rankings I came up with - in order of best to worst (my opinion)
Attractiveness = Kuda, ProClip, ProFit VSM
Sturdiest Mouting = ProFit VSM, Kuda and ProClip tied
Ease of installation = Kuda and ProClip tied, ProFit VSM
I already ordered the ProFit VSM, mainly because it looks like it's the sturdiest and would be able to support to torque applied when using a swivel connector.
I think the black Kuda blends the best with the black interior of my car, however the clips on the kuda and ProClip both look a bit weak and almost appear that if you applied too much torque when trying to use a swivel, they entire device would come off or crack/tear the fake wood trim or knee panel.
I know most of these options are "two piece" options that require a mounting bracket plus a swivel or device bracket. The links below are really just for the mounting bracket.
Opinions wanted!
My Car:
2002 TL Type-S
Factory NAV and HU
6-Disc In-Dash Changer
Black interior and exterior
Adding BlitzSafe HON/AUX DMX V.1 adapter for direct aux line-in (RCA plugs)
Kuda
