Koni ..the best?
Does anyone on this board have Koni shocks/springs on their TL.. I got a 2002 tl-p and was interested in picking up some of these bad boys for next spring. Anyone have insights/comments on Koni materials. I have been told that they far surpass Eibach/HR/Tokico etc...
Is it true?

Konis are thought to be the best you can get (at least the yellows). They are hella expensive though. Unless you have a mad suspension setup, I wouldn't spend the money on them. I have tokico Illuminas and they are by no means cheaply made. If you have the $$, go for the Konis, but if you are on a somewhat tight budget the illuminas are just fine for the car, unless you do some serious road racing or something.

I have a 00' TL with the yellow Koni's and love 'em. They are also two position height adjustable AND full spectrum firmness adjustable (soft ride to rock hard ride). Koni states that they are engineered to not change in performance for 100K miles or more if I remember right. With the Comptech sways and H&R OE springs you'll be able to handle just about anything in the turns. Your car won't lean at all, period and will still ride great.

Do they make koni sport's for TL's?
The only things I can find are Koni Specials.
The combo packages are not the best at comfort, since you are trading handling for comfort.

Paultl my ride didn't change with adding shocks and putting them on the soft setting. The firmness is adjustable, I did firm them up alittle as I like a tighter ride. But I am confident you'll like them.

Im definitely looking for a tighter ride, but I really want to sacrifice as little ride quality as possible. and yes I am on a super tight budget....I heard billsteins can cause a jarring ride.
