Kit question.

I have a chance to get a WW kit for dirt cheap, the thing about it is that im running stock wheels the 16'' on it and its dropped. Should I wait and get my rims first? or just throw on the kit with the stock wheels? car is dropped about 2 inches all the way around. anyone with pics? should i just get the kit and store it untill i get rims? what would you guys do?

You won't have any clearance problems with your 16s and the WW kit even though you're dropped. If you can get a hot deal on a kit, get it while you can, and save the $$. Which one you do first (wheels vs. kit) is strictly up to your taste and wallet. Wheels & tires will cost a good deal more than a kit. Go for it. Although you really need to get those 16s off of there asap...IMHO....

If you are getting the kit for a steal, get it. You never know how long you will be able to get a kit for the second generation TL. I am pretty sure Acura has already stopped making the kit for second generation. I am sure WW will follow soon. You can always get wheels at a later date. Just my $0.02.

If you have a '02+ TL, you're going to have to customize the front lip of the WW to fit.

Damn, $125 is a good deal for the WW kit. Painted or unpainted? Either way its a steal.

Bigger rims won't really change the height of your car. The goal with bigger rims is to make the tire profile smaller and smaller so as you get bigger rims, the tire itself gets smaller ... same overall diameter of rim+tire combination though so real change in ride height.

No, You will need at least a 48+ offset, if not a 50+. If you go with a 45 offset with either the 35s or the 40s you will be as they say.... Rubadubdub.....

With a 50+ you can go with either size 35s or 40s with no prob.
