Detailed Hiyo Silver over the weekend.

Got rid of the slimy dealer prep tire crap and replaced with 303 Protectant. Polished with Meguiar's #5, then waxed with Medallion.

Even polished/waxed the Comptech mufflers.

So Monday, it is warm and I am stopped at a redlight during the morning commuter/student rush.

Teenage boy yells, "Bad ass car man - I didn't even look - figured there was a lowered VTEC Civic boom ricemobile nearby.

Kid repeats "Badass car, man!" Louder this time.

I glance over and he is standing up in a schoolbus, hanging out the window, all smiles.

I give him the thumbs up and rumble away.

Kid made my day!

First time that has happened in any of my three previous TL's.

I've got the other end of the spectrum for you. This mOnday which was Sunny and beautiful, I pulled into a parking spot at a shopping complex where I get my haircut. As I pulled in a tiny 80yr+ old woman walked past me to put groceries into her car which was parked next to me.

I got out of the car, and I did she looked over at me and goes "Thats a beautiful car and A beautiful color" Some people mostly older have given me some flack over my choice of Aegean Blue which I love, so I really got a kick out of that. I said Thank You very much and continued on my way with a smile on my face. How could you not love the dee blue especially after 4 coats of Finish First

The same thing has happened to me. I've had at least 3 strangers say they really dig the Aegean blue. It is definitely a head turner!
