Help! My key fob has lost it's beep when I lock my doors. The panic button doesn't work either. And this is happening on both key fobs. The only thing done recently to my car is and oil & filter change along with a brake light bulb replacement. The repair shop has run out of ideas for helping me.

Does anybody have any fixes for this? The battery seems to be fine as I still get my little red light on the fob.

Yeah- the obvious first choice is a stop at Radio Shack
They looked at mine and said- someone has been in here before- and popped the fob open
1 new battery for a few dollars and I can lock the car from across the parking lot !

Yeah our key fobs suck. Does your also do that thing when unlocking it you cant push it twice fast. Like on other cars you can just push the button as fast as you want and it unlocks all the doors. On my car I noticed you have to push unlock wait a second then push it again for the rest to unlock. I think I also need a new battery because mine only works within a 5-10 foot radius of the car.

Replaced the battery...still doesn't work. Guess I just have to bring my car into Acura. Thanks for all the advice just the same.
