I just bought a CAI and wanted to check out and see the actual filter at knfilters.com, home of the K&N filters. so when i went to the universal filters page, it says that these filters are not intended for highway use, only racing vehicles? so this makes me wonder, does it filter as well as it should be? Does anyone have any knowledge about this?

I think that is talking about the 2 options below the regular filters...those cover things. The regular K&N filter is emissions legal in 50 states
