Just want to share my new ride!
Hello all,
I just got an 03 TL-S Nighthawk Black Pearl/ Ebony leather and just want to share with all of you. First impression is very nice car and I like it alot. So far only manage to add a body kits, PIAA superwhite high beam, B1 hybrid front turn signals, and superwhite door and dome light. Next stop: Air intake and exhausts.

Speaking of superwhites, what bulbs are used to change the regular HID lights (not specifically the high beam lights). Stock is only average in terms of brightness, not much brighter than regular headlights on newer cars.

Congrats and Good Luck with your new car!! Once you start the mods it's hard to stop. But it looks like your already addicted. Have fun with the car!

Yield2S: is it so? nothing in front door? Is this law recently change? As I remember, my old Accord had tint in front door and the cop did not say anything when he pull me over to give a fix ticket on the mod. of exhaust (Btw, I won at the court). This happens about 2 year ago, so I don't know anything change recently. I'll probably have to go to DMV to ask for sure.

nice car,and nice color! i'm from orange county, fullerton and i have a black TL . I have tint 2 week after i got my car, 20% back, 30% front, i've been pulled over 3 times, no hassle about tint or no front license plate. I guess if your car is clean looking, they won't care.

and btw, tustin acura sucks, they are really nice to you when they sell the car, but service absolutely sucks, go to wier canyon for service. you can go to any acura dealer for service.

Ya it's true, nothin on front window in cali.. Of coarse like most other laws there is selective enforcement.
The only thing to really be conserned with is that the CHP CAN give a 150.00 citation for the tint. but most other agensies will give "fix its" that will cost 10-30bucks for administative costs.
I had 50% all the way around and no licence plate in front on my accord for 6years w/no probs.2months after i took my plate off my tl got popped(its still off those damn red light tickets are almost $300).It's just what your drivin,where, and when.
It's those damn shiny 17's,like a spinner bait to a large mouth.
oh ya and don't forget to replace those fog light bulbs w/color matched one.I know some that are cheap and a real good match

i have tried the 80w eaglights and the 50w max's and they're identical. i feel more comfy with the 50watters,but both are safe.
its simple to install but try the search or even the FAQ's.
