Just picked up a 03 TL-S
I got Black w/ ebony interior and Navi. I researched on this board quite a bit first so I went ahead and got the underbody kit right away :p. I am really blown away by this car. I came from an 02 Dodge Ram 1500 though. I was starting to hate that truck believe it or not. I was considering waiting for the 04 TL's but I don't really care for those pictures I'm seeing of it. It's hard for me to keep from flooring the car although I'll admit i did it once on the way home to see how much freeway passing power I have. Needless to say I am very impressed 
I had a Honda Civic before and decided to give an american car company a shot with the Dodge truck. WTF was I thinking 
Well now I'm back to a brand I can rely on and have fun in.

Welcome fellow TL-S owner. I'm glad to have another person join us here on this board. Yup, the car is pretty cool. My only regret was that I decided not to have the Navigation system.
I had only one choice: either body kits or the Navigation. I opted for the body kits. Wish I had both, though. Anyway, contratulations on your new vehicle purchase.

I was smoking crack in '96 and ordered a Chrysler Sebring Sled from the factory and ended up with the 'ol lemon law phenomenon...I'll never own anything American again...
Oh yeah, you shoulda got dwp (white) 'cuz they have no tranny problems!

Yeah, I got SSM, too and with the standard nitrous and that extra gear on top of my other mods, I'm roasting M5's, running with my dad's '03 911 Turbo at over 185mph and striding the 1/4 in the low 12's...

SSM has perfect aerodynamics and you messed it up. You're probably losing at least 0.2 in the quarter mile. But it does look purty, so I guess it's alright. Just tune the NAWZ timer, and you'll make up for the loss.

1. Fill out your profile so that we can tell what part of the country you're in.
2. Find out if there's an Acura TL/CL "meet" near you so that you can check out the mods that folks are doing.
3. Get a second job so that you have lots of extra money to start modding your new baby!
