Just installed 6000k bulbs!!

Just changed my low beams to 6000k, it was a biatch. What everyone said was a 10 minute job turned out to be an hour job. The passenger side was easier and the driver side was a bit of a pain especially when I had to get that metal clip back on. Well, this is the first mod I did to my car.... got the sway bars lying next to me. I'll get those done soon I hope, hope I got all the tools too.

Btw, when after I installed them the driver side light appears to be slightly higher than the passenger side. I think I read something about this but I couldn't find the thread again. Is this right or did I mess it up?

Thanks.

Hmmm..I installed mine a couple weeks ago and they are both the same brightness. Doesn't sound right.

The brightness is the same, its just that the light appears to be a little higher (from the gournd) on the driver side.

oh btw, one of the bulbs had a cracked purple rod. I believe it was handled poorly from US Customs cause the guy I had bought it from was in Taiwan and he said it was ok when she shipped it. Anyone know if it makes a difference? The guy in Taiwan swears it is still fine but I just wanted a second opinion.

my passenger side is higher than my driver's side. 'cuz aren't road signs on the passenger side and oncoming traffic on the driver's side?

Is it cracked or broken? If it's cracked then it shouldn't be a problem. I think it's ceramic insulation for the ground wire. I bent mine during install and it cracked, but I bent the wire back and there are not problems. I think you should be fine as long as the ceramic coating is still on that wire.

question, what are the stock low beams (as opposed to the 6000K you just installed).

I can take a pic of the broken ceramic part. I was wondering how high should the low beams be aimed cause I do not know which side i ****ed up. I just know that they are off. If anyone could provide me with two measurements.... distance from bumper to wall the lights are being shined to and height from the ground where the brightest part of the lights ends. Hopefully this will help me aim it correctly.
