Raj, I go out of town for a few weeks and you make the deal and get a new car! Congratulations! You did very well, and especially with no attorney...
Now that mine is over I feel I can talk about it: $27.5k plus attorney's fees. The deal dragged on seemingly forever but now that it is done I am happy. I ended up with a below invoice deal on an Accord V6, since I travel so much.
Anyways, good deal and hope to catch you around.
Chris

Peter,
Did you use a lawyer? I am in the same boat. I have been through multiple interiors, Brake systems and currently on 3rd tranny and it is acting up.
Thanks,
Larry

Read the entire thread -- no lawyer -- just the BBB and myself arguing/yelling at all the HOnda/Acura cronies that called me from time to time to let me know I was crazy for thinking I would win this case.
You should do what I did -- file immediately w/ the BBB. The person that finally delivered my car to me last week is a representative of Honda. He claims that he's going around, state to state, issuing new TL's to customers that pursued the very route I did. He wouldn't comment on exact details of course, but it was his EXCLUSIVE job to go around the country performing this task. So the point is, file your claim, stick to your guns, and do not back down. You have a legitimate case since a tranny failure constitutes a thread to your well-being and the well-being of others on the road (drivers and pedestrians). This is NOT to be taken lightly.
Best of Luck, PM me for any other questions, I'm happy to help. A lemon lawyer will not accept your case in MOST cases. Don't fall for any gimmicks.
