Sweeeeet. Are you going to sell these in order that people were interested in them in this thread? Do you have an approximate cost for the gauge cluster kit?

I need to make a prototype first and see if it is feasable. Trying to get it simple enough for a plug and play type. Price wont be discussed as I need to figure out all my costs then I have to discuss with Astro as I'm not a temporary vendor yet.

As for who gets the first 20 (thats just an estimate for the moment) will be a first come first served. Basically who pays first. If there is more than 20, then I may increase the number I create. I dont know how many I can make per day so I must start to make the prototype first to know.

Details will follow......

having a kit for the tail-lights would be ! and the gauge cluster idea is good, but could have sworn there was a DIY for this with parts list included

I think he's not gonna post that DIY, but he said there would be instructions included with the kit if you buy it.

I'm in for the gauges too, for the right price and if it's a one-banana job.

I would love LED tails (provided they are bright and supply good angle of view) and gauges too in the future.

The prototype goal will be that there will be no soldering required, just plug in and go. The most intensive work when you get it will be to remove the gauges to place the underlay of leds as well to remove the blue filter off the gauges.

The hardest part for me is to place the leds for the needles and have them aligned properly as it will be a different design from my custom job I perform.

Once I complete the prototype I will take pics of the results....

I will make as many batches for the gauges.....then that will be it...and I will move onto Tailights and retire from the LED mod.

They will look pretty close to what I have, maybe even better once I complete the prototype sometime next week. I have to figure what material I'm going to use.
If everything works out I will start making a batch...and from the concensus of this posting....looks like I can make 30 of them and some extra for warranty purposes. More could be made at a later date if there is enough interest.

I'll try to keep the cost resonable, but I need to cover costs of parts and my time (I'm doing this by hand and it will take some time and effort, plus I need to make the install instructions). So when the time comes, if any of you dont like the price, then dont bother me with your lowballing antics , cause I'm sure someone else will want to be one of the 30 who will get this. I figure I would include the cost of shipping in the price as well. Until I talk to Astro again, thats all I will say about cost at this moment.

Just remember, this is going to be hand made...not mass produced but I will make it look as professional as possible. I'm doing this as I know some out there can't solder if their life depended on it, and because I'm stumped with a DIY for this....I think making most of the kit up will be easier.

OH there is one thing I forgot...out of the approx. 30 I have counted....how many have TL-S and TL-P?

+1 for the gauges. I would rip my reverse glows off for a well-done LED replacement like yours. 99 TL-P here.

Hmmm never thought of orange before.....So your saying white lettering and orange lines?
It should work for a cl as well...the cluster is probably close without the shift indicator.

The reason why I was asking who has what is that the TL-P is easier to set up than the TL-S. Since I dont have the TL-S cluster here, it will make it more difficult to adjust the leds for the needles.
I think I came up with a plan to solve that so hopefully I can do both types again.

So as for now, I need to sit down and create a prototype....then I will update then with if it was a success or not.
