i dont know whethere i messed up or not because the left fog bulb shattered out of know where and then i replaced it and that one went out? Can some one please help me.. the left one seems to be just fine...?!?

 

Did you happen to touch the bulb with your fingers? The oils from your finger can heat up enough to shatter the bulb. If the second one went out then your probably touching the bulb with your hand or finger. You can not touch the bulb at all! try wearing rubber gloves, that should at least keep the oils away.

 

that could be it . but are there any other explanations? And also..the switch itslef the green LED on the button lights up sometimes and sometimes dosent?? is there an explenation?

 

That is the only explanation for the shattering of the bulb. When I did my 6000k fogs, I was very careful not to touch it, but I guess I must have and when i turned it on testing it before putting it into the housing itself... i heard sizzling and saw smoke being given off, i immediately had my friend shut it off!!

We wiped the bulb and problem solved. Its the oil on our fingers that does this.

That could just be a loose wiring. Next time your in for service, just ask them to make sure the wires are secure.
