Just bought Mother's California Gold Clay Bar

Hello there guys, the reason why I bought the claybar was to try it out on the paintball black marks on my car. I have about 2-3 of them and I am going to try it out tonight when it gets cooler. Also I wanted to try it out on waterspots. What else can the claybar be used for? Can it be used on scratches?

it cant really be used for scratches, but its main purpose is got get rid of contaminents that have worked their way into the surface of ur car. You can use it on your headlights as well as glass enjoy!

Besides doing those few spots, you should try doing the whole car. Before you use the clay, I suggest that you wash the car first and leave it wet. Take a sandwich bag, put your hand in it and run it along your wet paint. If you feel some bumps or grit, your paint should be clayed. After you clay the car, wash it again (or at least rinse it down) and feel the paint with the sandwich bag again. It will feel silky smooth.

you may need to get some overspray clay...it's heavier duty stuff they use to get out overspray. I know claymagic makes some, but not sure about mothers. you probably need to buy it online

btw, isn't paintball paint detergent based...I'm surprised it doesn't wash off but I've never gone paintballing so I could just be talking out of my rear again

Be sure to polish or wax after claybarring. Protects the cleaned paint.
