Took your advice and went for the 2000 instead of the 99. Will pick it up Tuesday nite. It is Naples Gold, has the wood grain dash package and has about 44,000 miles on the clock. It's from Island Acura (Long Island, NY) and comes with the 12,000 12 month new car warranty.

The tranny has not been replaced so I'm gonna watch, look, and listen for anything that doesn't feel right with it. The dealer said that if the tranny goes, Acura will put a 7 yr 100,000 mile warranty on the new tranny - is that true?

hi...congrats on your purchase...i also have a 2000TL naples gold...do you have mud shields for your tires, either front or back (they are not flaps, but black plastic attachments to the bumper/frame, behind the tires).
