the jet v force is a performance chip, they are about 250.00. I doubt they will do much for our tl's, as the tl is tuned very well out of the box, but Jet is a reputable manufacturer and they do make chips for other cars that work well. even the unichip developed for our tl's, doesn't do much or anything at all from what I have read.

unichip can and DOES give good gains if you get it dyno tuned. Having said that...the problem with the unichip is finding someone to tune as there are only a couple tuners in the US that can tune it.

i personally don't know anything about the jet v force...but i honestly doubt it'll give any gains for the cl/tl. I'm guessing its like the apexi safc/vafc allowing only mild adjustments to air and fuel.

Unichip is a total waste of money and does NOT give very good gains. I was one of the unlucky few who wasted my money on the Unichip. The mapping from Unichip was totaly useless. After getting it custom tuned, I was able to gain 3-4 whp. Not that great of gains for spending about $700.

Never heard of Jet V Force, but I would highly doubt it would give any gains for the TL-S. Spend your money on mods with proven gains like headers, icebox, or a UR crank pulley.

The Jet V force has same technology as chips hypertech or anyother advancing timimng and increasing fuel flow. I can see how it would work urilizing the map and tps sensors. chips have alway been a good mod..I am looking for the color of the wire and installation chip from anyone out there who has done it, check out there website ..jetchip.com I think gives spec,,suppose to give 10hp and with a air intake I thought it would be more.. so anyone ,,,thanks

2 my knowledge No one here has added one. The unichip was about the only thing people tried. They spent alot of time in R&D and like the above poster said even with dyno tuning only yeilded about 3 hp, and for the money not worth it.

as for the wires. i dont know. you can see both sensors on the TB and see teh wires there.

Driving with high advanced timing is not good for any engine. Especially in hot weather cond. I dont know if you have a TL-S or what but on the S , compression is already high and putting more timing can be dangerous. Even though you can turn it off at a touch of a button, it would take time for the ecu to adjust back to the way you drive .

I order it for my 07 auto tl b/c of the eletric throttle control. t\you can change the setting and make it like a drive by wire. Way better throttle response from a stop.

This is the 2nd gen area. The unit simply won't work or do anything for our car.

How can it make it "like drive by wire"? If there's a mechanical connection between the pedal and throttle then it's not drive by wire period. There's really not much grey area.

So if its already drive by wire then how is this making it "like drive by wire" is what I'm saying. Either it is or it isn't.
