Man...it's amazing..at how many cars wants to race me...I only have stock TL -S only!!! no mods yet!

whenever and where I stop at a light....cars ranging from Bimmers...Mercedez.C, CLKs...Solara. Celica...Integra...Honda accord coupe...sport utilities...pickups...all wants to race me.... either that or tried to cut me off....
Does our cars really look that AGGRESSIVE to them???

Cause my cars is still new and not broken in.....so I took it easy on them

but this morning....this riced out accord coupe v6...with bodykit..
wanted to race me...first he didn't catch my attention..and so he took off first...and cut in front of me....i switched over to SS...i cut to the right...we raced down a local road...with speed limit of 35...and we went up to 80+ miles.....I scared the pants out of him...and his 2 girls in the car...lol...cause..I was able to speed past him in time...and get in his front...before seconds hitting the car in the other lane and stopping at a red light. It was amazing when i hit 3rd gear..and skyrocket past him....guess that was the vtec kickin in.
I don't think he'd ever want to race another TL type S

I showed him who's the boss and not to mess with me and my other TL P or TYPE S BUDDIES!!!!

Even if people are not trying to race, they'd STARE... and I'd be like.. what the f**k r u looking at? LOL.... thank gawd i have tinted windows =) but that makes me feel good tho.. at lease people are lookin at our carz hehehe

and i was on vacation for 2 weeks... so yeawh 2000 miles in 4.5 weeks =)

my mornings race with that accord was to beat him in his own game...he cut me off...so i cut him off back....while he WAS ACTUALLY RACING ME, I surpass him and beat him.....before when he pass me i wasn't paying attention
so..

Accord v6 coupe..had early start 2-3 sec start....and i overtook him....when we both reach 60-80...my third gear...got me in front of him..and beat him...all this within...1-2 mile distance.

Congrats on the kill. Be extremely careful when going that fast on 35mph streets. All it takes is for some idiot to pop his nose into the road from a blind corner and you're done for.

I've given up racing people in the city as its just too dangerous... the car does not even handle too well - too much body roll, torque steer etc. and lousy brakes[FONT=times new roman][COLOR=darkred]

I probably scare them away when they hear my trunk rattle when thumping my system :p Hard to find peeps to race man. All I got is header and exhaust haven't even put the CAI on yet or my V-AFC. Anybody know of a good place to get my ride dyno in OC or LA to do my V-Tech settings

No one ever attempts to race me. But it's no big deal, I never have very many want to race me in my RX-7 either. I think it was an intimidation factor there though.

May I'm biased, heck yeah I'm biased, but I have no respect for a riced up Accord V6 Couple or Sedan. By spending all that extra money for mods on the Accord, those owners could have stepped up to a CL or TL Type S or even a base CL or TL with the 225HP engine. The Accord is your basic family Sedan, reliable and plain looking.

But again this is a biased point of view from a TL owner and the TL & CL does cost a little more than a fully loaded Accord V6.

Okay, you said you beat an accord, but do you know that you guys are made in the same factory; the same factory lines in USA. They both have VTEC and both are ohc V6's despite the displacement difference. A kill is a kill, but you just killed your little brother!!!!!!

The Cleveland/Akron area in OH must not be the place for races - I haven't been challenged in three weeks with the car, and we do have our share of "slammed" accords and civics around. Maybe they just know better?

FYI - according to PRNews, Nissan moved around 130K Maximas last year, and sales this year look to be less than that at around 110K to 120K.

As for the Maxima styling, there's little doubt that it's distinctive - some might even say ugly, but personal taste is just that - personal. Anyways, I like it, and it has that one feature which you still can't get in a TL-S....a manual transmission (at least until next year - let's keep those fingers crossed)

ya..i didn't pick the race...but that accord just got in my way and on my nerves....

today...i got challenged again....it was the newest maxima model..SE...it was munual..cause the guy kept roling back and forth..... and the result?...puahaha...said bye bye to him.
