JDM Inspire power folding mirrors (pics added)
hey... i have a set of inspire power folding mirrors and i have a few questions.
1) how can i remove the mirror from the stock mirrors? i want to replace the actual mirror (glass) on the JDM ones with the stock ones. i have read that since the cars are right hand drive in japan, if i install the jdm mirrors, i will have trouble adjusting them perfectly because of this.
2) does anyone by any chance have any wiring diagrams or pretty much any diagrams concerning the inspire mirrors? what about the stock mirrors?
from what i have noticed... the mirrors are plug and play. the switch, i will have to cut the wires from the stock switch and splice in the inspire switch. the part that is going to be tricky/confusing is that i need a power folding mirror relay (which i can get). not sure where it goes or how to wire, but i guess i will find out/look into it more once i buy the relay.
any help is appreciated, thanks.

I think you're gonna lose the 'heated mirror' function (prob not a big deal since you're in the South) if you want the auto-fold in. Somebody else did this mod ... good luck.
(Sorry, I'm not one with any wiring diagrams, etc)

You're gonna need to replace more than just the glass.
Think about it:
The Inspire is a right-hand drive car. Go sit in the passenger seat and try to adjust your TL's mirrors so you can see correctly out the left and right side. Difficult isn't it? Well you're gonna have the same problem with the Inspire mirrors.
The way to get around it is to gut the Inspire mirror, except for the motorized part and replace the guts from your TL's mirror into the Inspire one.
nighthawkblack did something similar from what I remember.

It would be great if the mirror automatically folds when you lock the door. Hey carlos, do you have aftermarket alarm? If you do, see if anyshop might be able to do that for you. It would be sweet!!!

part of the motor:
the switch:
the 8 wires (from the switch) that will hopefully match the harness:

also, the mirrors were originally firepepper red and were then painted nighthawk black pearl (a shitty paint job, nonetheless). im trying to take them apart as much possible so i can hvae every little nook and cranny painted Satin Silver Metallic.
EDIT: can a mod edit the title and put *Pics Added*

I think Nighthawkblack (robert) has it on his 2000 TL. You might want to search his e-mail address since he doesn't hang out the board often. Good luck!!

Damn theres more to these cars than I thought. Songoku, seems like you have alot of mod's from JDM spec on your car. Where did you purchase alot of these parts? I like the side mirror feature and also want the wing. What else comes on Inspire cars? Anyone got a link of what the Inspire look like?
