Post jammers

Any of you guys use jammers?? I have a friend that recently bought one or something
that keeps the cops from knowing your speed even though you are speeding. I will be driving from MS to NY this summer and I really want to cut my road time down.

That's right. some are better than others, but they do a better job in contrast to regular radars. Go to the supermarket and look in the car magazines, you should see advertisment about them. I knew two companies website, but I forgot them. The cheapest I seem them is like $400 bucks....I seem one for $1,000. Good luck on your search.

From what I remember reading in Car & Driver a while back, the radar jammers they tested hardly worked well at all. Besides that, the're illegal so if you get caught with one you can probably get in some trouble.

What about just a good detector like the passport 8500 or Valentine 1?

It'd be nice to have it... but the last I checked, it is illegal to have in the state of California.

Get an active radar/laser jammer. I know the Blinder M10 is a good active laser jammer. Don't really need a radar jammer though. Laser jammer I feel is a must though.

Active radar jammers work and can be made, but they are illegal, since you do not have the license to transmit on those frequencies. The passive jammers (all the ones you see for sale) do not send out a constant signal, so they are legal, but they dont work.

Laser Jammers on the other hand are legal. Most of them work, but I hear the Blinder is the best.
