Hi guys,

This is my first post. =)

I did search but I couldn't find an answer what I was looking for.
ANyway, I have a floor jack and want to left whole front and want to place jack stand.(my car is 2000 TL)
But I couldn't find a jack point.
Where should I jack?

I want to replace engin mounts.

Thank you guys.

look under the front of the car- with a 4x4 block of wood on top of the floor jack
you can lift from a middle point in front--it sticks out when you look

jackstands go under the frame rails inside of the normal lift points on sides
Those are identified by the double thickness of metal, and a cutout in the metal for the regular car jack to fit into
Located near the door ends

Caution! Place a secure block behind the rear wheel or car will try to move around on you

Actually there is a spot on the front crossmember that is designed for a jack to lift. You DONT want to use a block of wood on it. It wont stay put. The spot is dead center about 18" or so in from the front bumper. (it is designed for a floor jack with a 4" or larger lifting pad and not a cheap one with the 2" lifting pad)
