I am thinking about trading my 2001 Intrepid in for a TL-S. I have read a lot about the tranny problems that are supposed to be resolved in the 2003 model year. I think I am okay with that.

I was wondering about the brake disc warping problem. Has that also been resolved?

I'll tell you I have had the warping problem in my Intrepid two times already and at 37K it's starting to happen again. I really don't want to go through that again.

I don't necessarily think the warp rotors problem is as much a problem with the TL-S as it is with your braking habits. Here is a link to a website about the myth of warped rotors: LINK

Good luck with your purchasing decision! I personally think the TL-S is still a great car, and a great buy for the price.

Get it, I never had a problem with the brakes, until I got to 25,000 miles.

I just enjoy the hell of my TL-S and never a problem. Great value and ride.
