Iridium IX Spark Plugs

Hi,
Anyone knows how long the Iridium IX spark plugs would last? What is it MTBF?

THanks

Thanks for clarifying Chet. What I found is that they all said it would last longer, but there is no specification indicating how many miles it would last averagely.

I am debating on my next plugs change whether I should go with Iridium IX or stick with the OEM plugs.

The OEM plugs are double platinums and hella expensive. Denso or NGK iridiums are good alternatives. Check www.sparkplugs.com for good prices.

NGK's will last longer because of the 0.6 electrode as compared to the 0.4 on the Denso's.

The OEM iridiums will, but the performance will be around 60,000 and Denso say's 30,000.

Thank you all for the info. If they will last for 60k, then it is an excellent oem replacement for the price.

Take it to autozone and have the code read out. I don't think it has anything to do with the spark plugs you replaced.
