Post intake sound

i have the weapon-r intake and was wondering if anyone knows the sound difference between the aem cai and the weapon-r. i want the cai for the power but i am not sure if i can deal with any more noise than the weapon-r makes. anyone who has heard the two and could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. thanks. kris.

The noise is pretty similar, actually, I believe the Weapon-R might be a little noisier.

I'm seriously re-thining about getting this, I don't want a lot more noise at the sake of a couple of horsepower.

Question

Ok, from what I learned, the intake systems are noisy but give good performance. How about those drop in filters? Does K&N make em?

I just want too much noise!!!

if the aem is a littly quieter and gives more power i am definitely going to go with it. the intakes aren't loud until you get on it. if you drive normal all that can be heard usually is a little whistle. when you get on it, however, then it is loud as all hell. if you dont want that noise at all the drop in filter and the comptech exhaust is the way to go.
