Exclamation Intake

I was getting ready to put my intake in today and I noticed there are two hoses going into the top box of the factory air filter. I have no clue what they are for and I wondering if anyone can help in what to do with those hoses?? I have a '99 TL.

inside the air filer box, there is a little radiator that warms the air in really cold wheather. This hoses are full of antifreeze. Just take them off or cut them. Put them back together so the antifreeze keeps flowing. Follow the hoses, one should go to the throttle body(where the end of the intake hooks to) the other one hooks to a little pipe(actualy 2 together). All you have to do is hook that end to the end of the one on the throttle body with a small piece of hose. Becarful the hoses are filled with anifreeze so you know what I mean. Hope this helps.

im not sure if it matters or not, but i didn't need to use any extra hose or anything. i just slipped the original over the aem pipe with no problems. why would you need to extra hose?

I believe you meant to say "there is a little radiator that cools the air in really hot weather"...?

SilverStreak2kTL, he has a 99. 00-02s don't have this.
