Just got a ticket for going through a stop sign the other day... my first ticket.. is that gonna effect my insurance?

not unless you go to traffic school, but if you get another violation or something within 18 months...i think your insurance rates will go up

How old are you and who your insurance company is are very important factors? I was telling someone else earlier that State Farm, my insurance company, will only raise everybody's rates at once and not on an individual basis. Being your first offense, you'll be just fine as long as you don't pile them up afterwords. Just take defensive driving and be careful with your TL.
