installing wheel

where is a good cheap place to get my wood wheel installed? can you do it yourself???? i live in central NJ

let the dealer do it, a shop may screw up the centering of the wheel real bad. And it would seem like you need an alignment.

Yeah, take it to the dealer and have them install it for ya. You have to have steering wheel pully to take the old one out.

It's about 75~100 depends on the dealership. Get the estimate over the phone before take your car. Good luck!!!

(I did mine myself, didn't have to do the alignment.)

I did it myself as well, do a search and you can find instructions on how to install the wheel. It really wasn't too hard. I had to slightly modify the type-s steering wheel I got since they changed things a tad from my 99TL-P wheel, but still was easy to do myself. Lining it up right after putting the new wheel on was the hardest part by far, just take your time and be careful. You can always adjust it later if you find you've messed up.

can someone post directiopns because i dont have the search feature yet..gotta save up some more $ b4 i can get the preium membership...either way once my rims are on, ill prob get an alignment as well.....also, how difficult would you rate this install? i am pretty good with this kidna stuff, except for stereos and stuff...i did clear out my headlights....please let me know thanks...really appreciate it...ps...i got a great deal on the wheel from this guy on ebay...$250 shipped, and its looks brand new ....

you should get the helms service manual for you car, I think there's on on ebay for a 99 tL , check it out...has all the instructions in it.

You can download the instruction from here. This is an ACCORD steering wheel but it's pretty much same.
(You need to have Acrobat Reader installed in your computer.)
