Installing stainless steel brake lines improving braking?

I'm quoting one of the members on this forum stating that not only new rotors and pads improve your braking, but installing stainless steel brake lines? Isn't this simply a tube which the Dot 3 fluid flows through? How do the different materials improve stopping power?

any ideas...

The weight of TL causes most the break problem. At a weight of 3558lb (TLS) and the lack of high performance breaks, stop is always a problem.
A tube will not change anything.

yes stainless lines will help but its not goig to be a difference you are going to really be able to see. rubber under pressure expands and you loose some of the pedal feel and pressure. with stainless steel(braided) lines are far less to tube expansion and you will fell a stronger pedal feel. if they wernt better racers wouldnt use them. i use them for racing and you can feel a difference on the brake pedal, especially when the brakes are really hot. now if you add them to performance brakes then you will start to notice them even more.

Lines improve brake FEEL, not actual braking distance
