installing springs

Ok, i've orderdv the springs already and now it's the matter of installation. I was wondering if installing lowering springs is easy enough that i can let a guy do it for like $50, who installed my neons and did a pretty good job, or should i bring it to a shop who wants 120? and do i have to get an alignment afterwards?

Definitely get the alignment afterwards. As for installation, as long as he's competent, let the guy do it for $50 (that's a great price).

50 bucks is a great price, but then again, borrow someone's spring compressor and do it yourself for nada. And yes, you will need an alignment.

$50 is a great price. Do an alignment after 2 weeks or untill the springs settled.

Like CKacura said, wait 1-2 weeks, or until you feel as if the springs have for the most part settled. If you get an alignment immediately following the install, you will not have perfect camber due to the fact that your car will sit lower in a few weeks.

Not aligning your wheels will quickly wear out your tires unevenly.

so it would be easy to do it yourself with a spring compressor? they have these in JCWHITNEY for like $34. that would be way cheaper than taking it to a shop. plus you would have to tools so
