Post Installing Body Kits?? I want to save $195 in install cost

I'm probably gonna get body kits from ahmotor.com but I was wondering if I can save $195 in install cost..Is installing them that hard??? Is it just clips and screws..What tools do I need to install??

Or is it worth the install just to be on the safe side.

From what I heard so far, it's pretty easy to install it. Of course, this only applies to those who knows and handy with this type of work. If not, I strongly suggest you to have it install by the dealer or a local shop and also only if you can afford that extra $195. At least if they messed up, they are liable for it.

I just purchased my kit for $405(Wings West). I got it painted for $200. I installed it myself, it took about 2 hours. I spent $605 and the cost of gas to drive down to the Wings West Factory.

It's really not that difficult to do. We can install it for $150 if you aren't comfortable doing it, and we also add brackets to pull the sides of the kit in and all where needed.

Still, if you are the slightest bit handy, give it a shot You can always call me if you need help while you are doing it.

Thumbs up

I just put mines on and it was not that hard. I had mud flaps on so i had to remove the rear wheel to take them off, but that was the hardest part. It is a two man job though.
