Ok, thanks. I am definitely thinking of trying it then, I have a recession income! I would like to convert to manual, but its not realistic for me. If it does work we are only speaking of minor things to get it done. Wiring, mounts, etc, etc. Do you know any direction I could go to start?

I know this will be a stupid question but please excuse me:
If you put Odyssey's engine in TL, dose it run faster and normal TL or as fast as regular Odyssey?

u put the block in. u can reuse the cl-s or tl-s or rl pistons and u reuse ur heads. it gives it more torque and bring it up to a 3.5 instead of the 3.2. more torque and more horsepower

Not a great update. No dyno or anything yet. Just some random pics of what I'm up to:

Black interior conversion project. Stripped interior and clean up and a current engine bay snap.

Good news and bad news. I did another rebuild in December. My crank thrust bearing came loose and caused some crank walk while I was in a race at Summit Point. After further inspection, I made the idiot mistake of installing them in reverse when I first did the swap. SO FAIL. I got 70,000 miles out of it though with a few AutoX events and daily driving in the winter.

It is now rebuilt to a J36. Decided for the upgrade because it was practically the same price for parts. It now has CL-S heads with the bigger valves. TL-S valve springs and I still have the RL pistons with OEM rings. The Total seal rings just would not seal! I am still in break-in process.

Will for sure dyno and update in the upcoming weeks.

I bet. Just finished the headliner. Should install all parts tommorow.

A few exterior pics. Got to put my Mugen spoiler and roof lip back on along with the 18's. Also trying out the D2 coilovers to see how I like em. Going to get the whole car resprayed in the summer.

April showers FTL.

YEA! They were winter wheels, I'm putting something new later.

I used the J37A1 crank from the MDX. Along with the rods and bearings. Had to space out the nose of the snout.

Ah thats what i thought. I almost went that route with my crank, but didnt know anyone around here that could have done the snout work for me.

Sean sells the spacer for it.

http://powerrevracing.com/shop/produ...id_product=131

You would just have to chop the end yourself.

What do you have to cut if you need this to make the crank snout longer?

I wish I had a pic of a crank and windows paint to show you. I'm on my girlfriend's mac.

Basically you extend the area where the crank slides in to the pulley. It is just about 10mm or so I'd say. Have to measure.

Clean cut the area that slides in to crank pulley, get the spacer, and it should work like magic.

Question,

With the Cusco strut bar an Ingall Engine Damper where did you get bracket piece to make stay lay flat? Did you make that piece to make it fit or does Ingall have different bracket?

Actually the damper does not sit flush. I just used washers on the side that doesn't have the bracket to even it out.

The other side of the cusco bar is normal and fit fine.

Haven't updated in a while. Made some changes and finally got to the track (Atco raceway for Honda day). It was my first time ever running down the drag strip. Very great and fun experience. I was nervous as hell though not gonna BS. I almost choked on the first run and couldn't even stage! Fail like a mofo.

Wish I had vids. Didn't get to weigh the care either. Found out about the weight station after the run. I only got to run 2 times because I wasn't paying attention when they called my bracket to run for the 2nd time around!!! The tech put me in the 14.99 or slower bracket. Made sense as I am new to the drag strip. I need more practice for sure.

Details:
-78 degree weather
-93 ft above sea level
-Full tank of gas (I'm an idiot, filled up right before I got to the track)
-Full interior, spare was taken out, but had a luggage of clothes in the -back seat as well as my girl's macbook pro.

First run, slipped clutch to launch and ran all the way out.

Second run, Missed 3rd. FML.

Pic of the car for proof, it was me.

I have a dyno run scheduled for 2:30 today. I will post back in the next couple of hours.

An H22 91 accord coupe. He mishifted.

Dyno broke as soon as I got to the shop. What are the chances? Murphy's law man. They are rescheduling me later in the week after they get a mechanic to come and repair it.

Definitely. I didn't expect to run that for the first time. Beginner's luck eh, and the power of the car for that matter.

Not tuned yet but that will change in the upcoming month.

I'm going to sit and reevaluate my bolt-ons. I am currently running ebay headers with a modified rear runner and an exhaust with too(two) many resonators and a restricting muffler.

Intake setup sucks (not really).

My friend who is a fabricator is working on an equal length setup for me. He will also be making a jig so we can get many sets made. I will probably be looking for some local members for some R&D. But that is for another topic on another day.

New mods to come:
RDX injectors
AEM EMS2
Tune
New intake setup
New exhaust setup

It's not great or sexy by any means but I keep it functional and drive it. I'll try to attend as many local meets as I can. Hope to meet yall as well.

I slowly slipped into it and drove like I was coming off a signal light.

After hearing about a few members here snapping axles, I decided to take it easy and not launch hard and mash the pedal right away.

Probably why I got the times I did. I really wish I hadn't miss third on my second run though, just to see how consistent I would've been for two runs.

Just got in. 6 RDX injectors with clips. Didn't need to find the scion clips and buy the pigtails from Honda.

I got this at a very competitive price. So if anyone needs a set let me know through PM.

Not too bad, but it looks like You have some restrictions. With your internals you should be making more hp and tq. You need a bigger TB and freer flowing exhaust for starters.

Yeah, in the upcoming months I should have a completely different setup as far as breathing goes.

Also, this is the same dyno that Spoolinspoon dyno'd his 3.7 build and pulled a 262.1whp / 225.3wtq with 3" CAI/Bored TB with new butterfly/P&P upper and lower manifold and runners/P&P heads/XS headers/highflow cat/stock exhaust.
