If the 1st and 2nd gen TL is a Inspire / Saber and the 03 Accord is a Inspire now when are the 03 drivers going to JDM them into Inspires I saw the V6 fourm had a group buy but you would think all the 03 Accord drivers here would be keeping the Inspire name going strong....just wondering.

Inspire = New Accord
New Accord = TSX

So I'f I've done that math right then:
TL = TSX

The current TL is the last gen Inspire/Saber in Japan. The New American Accord is the New Inspire in Japan. While the Japanese and Euro accord are the Amrican TSX. And The New 2004 TL hasnt been introduced to the Japanese market yet.

Okay now in all seriousness it is a bit confusing if you try and compare markets. It makes no sense what Honda/Acura has done.

Here is the way I see it. I think this will all get fixed up soon.
TL was = Inspire
US Accord now = Inspire
Euro Accord = TSX

So in our line up going up in prestige

Accord
TSX
TL

In Euro/Japanese going up in prestige

Euro Accord (TSX in US)
Inspire (Accord in US)

What doesn't make sense is that it seems to be reversed.

Here is how I think it will all be fixed soon.... The Accord being the Inspire was only temporary (my speculation). So what will happen is that the new 04 TL will be the Inspire once again next year in Japan. So then they will get:

Euro Acccord (TSX in the US)
Inspire = (04 TL)

So yes we get the Euro Accord as a TSX and they won't get the US Accord ....or perhaps they will as the Saber.

Now this is all just my stupid ranting and my opinion on what they should do. Because I agree that as it stands now it is all mixed up.

But coming down to the bottom of things you can't really equate a TL being = to an Inspire. They are for totally different markets and they are even built with different features. Here we deem a TL as luxury and to back that up it only comes with leather. In Japan you can get the Inspire with cloth! So how can we say that TL = Inspire??? ....I think we can't. And to those of you who badge your Acuras with Honda emblems and then change it to say Inspire....I dont get it. Your TL is much more than an Inspire. Now I'll buy that you do it to be different. But it sure doesn't buy you more class.

Car manufactures don't do a whole lot of sense sometimes it seems to me.

Take these examples (things that are on my mind that just don't seem right)....(I guess this is going to get pretty off topic ..but oh well)....

Nisan 350Z is more powerful than Infinity G35 Coupe ....WHY???
Infinity FX35 is more powerful than Nisan Murano .....okay that makes sense.

So why is it different with the 350Z's counterpart?

they will never waste time and money converting and american spec accord for the japanese markets for a 1 year run. It will stay that way and they may introduce the next TL as another name or as the saber.
