Are you going to pull the injectors and clean them or do you just want to dump something into your fuel tank??

If you're gonna pull the injectors, I'd recommend you have them professionally flow tested, cleaned and blueprinted.

If you're just gonna dump something into your gas tank, just get some Chevron Techron additive and put it in your tank. Another product I use is Neutra 131 which I've found to be very good.

Yeah- the Chevron Techron is good stuff. I don't see why anyone would have to have injectors pulled out? Unless you are getting crap gas or something

if you use premium fuel all the time, it is not necessary to mix additives to your fuel. i have heard redline complete fuel system cleaner to be great. hm..interesting, no fuel filter to be replaced on the tl.

I had'nt worried about the fuel filter..yet. I only have 27k miles. I suppose it is a non-serviceable one? My '93 Accord has one that you are supposed to change every 60k or something.
I guess the industry is going that way. Our '98 Mountaineer has an in-line filter, but the service manual says it's a lifetime one. Only needs replacing if fuel pressure drops. Wonder how long "lifetime" will be. Almost 100k on the truck though..

Hmmm.... I think its called BGK44 or something like that. I believe thats an excellent product. Although this past month and a half I've put in....
1. Chevron with Techron
2. Redline
3. Redline
4. BGK44

So needless to say, mines as clean as a whistle!
