Not much new here, other than saying there will be a Type-S, which contradicts everything we have heard in the other threads.

I am wondering if anyone know anything about the car.

It doesn't say there will be a Type S, it says it will come with more horsepower than the current TL Type S.

All that means is that we are going to have to wait longer to get our cars... with so many colors, they will not manufacture that many of each one, which we will have to wait to get the one that we want...

but then again, choice is nice

maybe they mean 20 different color combinations in which case it would be 10 colors with either ebony or parchment interior - total of 20 combinations

2004TL, I barely explained it because that's all I got from my dealers email. I guess he doesn't really want to sell the new TL.

the reason he didn't tell you is not because he doesn't wanna sell u a new TL but because its confidential and he will get fired..

As you can see, I have removed the Official Letter

Hmmm, why would this info still be confidential? If you think about it, being this close to production Honda would WANT to leak some info out to entice the masses.

I just talked with my dealer this past week when I brought my car in for oil change. He told me a pretty interesting story about the 2004 TL. He heard that while they were building the 2004 TL off the assembly line, it happened to be coming off the line next to a 2004 RL. After the management saw the cars side by side, they said: "Oh ****!"
They really screwed up on the fact that the TL is looking more attractive than the RL (even though the RL is supposedly Acura's flagship vehicle).

Ya well the RL is still a OLD GEN, and Acura could care less now that the SALES HAVE DROPPED, and its the last year for this GEN..

The 2005 RL is gonna be the Acura Making money..

They dont expect too much from the 2004 RL because its the last year of the current gen, like the 2003 TL

yeah, i won't believe any "stories" from a dealer about how good the new TL looks. I'd tell you lame stories to try to sell or hype up something too. True, the new TL probably looks a lot better than the RL, but as mentioned earlier, the RL will be redesigned very soon and I'm sure it will look sweet when it comes out. Basically, i think the people at Acura would have realized what the car looks like before they started making it. They are not idiots, I hope.
