Cool

My suggestion would be WDP/Parchment, but I'd guess you'll be happy with whatever you choose. Good luck!!!

You know, the stupid thing about this question (and I'm not insulting the poster, because I put out this same post before I got mine) is that everyone is going to recommend the color that they own!!!! LOL

For the record, I recommend you get the silver/ebony. Excellent color combination.

I myself was torn between Aegean Blue Pearl and Satin Silver Metallic. In the end I went with SSM because it is easier to maintain. The ABP looks nice but only when its clean...

I have narrowed my selections to:

1-Aegean Blue Pearl w/ black
2-Black w/ parchment
3-Silver w/ black
4-Black w/ black

I have to keep looking and see if I'll fall in love with the black wood. I didnt like it the first time I saw it and just wish they had normal wood with the black interior. I know to some people it looks nice, but at least give me an option! I like the aegean blue, but I'm thinking I MIGHT change to the dark side... silver ain't bad, but kinda played out.

One more thing... the White is BEAUTIFUL on the TL-S... it's just that I have white cars already... but DAMN does it look nice. With the clearouts and all that... oooh weee.

Ok I know I'm bias here, but get the Aegean Blue Pearl. It's a brand new color for the 2002 model year. So you won't find million of them out there with that color already.

I've had people ask me if I had it custom painted that color.....

BTW-whatever color you chose will be great cuz your buying a TL-S!!!!

I ordered a silver one because I LOVE silver. But the white looks very very nice for the TL-S. Almost makes me not order a car thats not silver for the first time but I didn't! I just couldn't! To me dark colored cars are sort of incognito, blends in with the rest of traffic. Kind of hides the details of the car, looks real sharp when clean though. Just my opinion.

I've got a silver '01 TL and the great thing about it is that when it's dirty is still looks really good...just not as shiny.

The Aegean Blue may be interesting now, but I know that I'd get tired of it pretty quickly. It's trendy. Trends change, but silver, black and white are always appealing.

Dude....you've already made the biggest descision (the type of car you want)...now make one that totally depends on YOUR gut instict and choose the one YOU like best. This is the time to forget what everyone else is saying and go with whatever you think you'll be happy with for the lenght of time you have the car. There are color specialists out there that know what they are doing....so no matter what color you pick, I'm sure that there's been countless amount of hours analyzing it. Now...if there was an option (maybe in the future) to buy your car WITHOUT paint and have the customer fully customize their color...then thats a whole nother ball game. Hmm....hows a TLS look in yellow? (thats the color I was gonna get if I got the A4, before the TLS came out, but thank god the TLS came in time to sweep me away)

Yeah, don't get silver.. way too many on the road.. I have a silver, I like it alot; but this car is going to be a family car soon.. The flashy color is reserved for either a Red TL-S in a couple years or a yellow S2000(I wish)..

ABP is a badass color, "but you have to ask yourself one question.." do you want to keep that color for a long time??

It is a new color, very eye catching. I like it cuz it's a darker shade than most of the other cars that have this type of color. If you want to turn heads(including cops), this color should do it..

My vote is for the Blue!!

Mine is silver but I think blue looks the best, I just didn't want the hassle of trying to keep it clean.

only two 3 colors look good on the TL....

1-Aegean Blue
2-Silver
3-Black

I think silver is the best, but too many out there, so If I was you I pick Aegean Blue.

I totally agree. Not to mention that the Ebony interior will not show the dirt if you're keeping the car for any length of time. I love the Parchment interior but with me it would be filthy in les than a year so "no thanks" . And I do like the Blackwood trim with the Ebony interior.

I got the silver because of maintenance. It's really pretty when it's all clean, but when it's not it still looks good.

The blue is a real head-turner. I saw one go by yesterday - wow! The color stands out - very unique. I'm not sure if I would love it after a few years.

My favorite is the black... when it's super shiny.. kept really slick looking.. it's a sex machine, no question. But you gotta commit to the care... good luck with whatever you decide!

I went with the Silver because I had never owned a light colored car before. Plus Silver looks real classy to me. Although I don't think you can go wrong with any of the colors. I wasn't real sure about the black wood thing either, but afterwards it really isn't bad at all. It blends real well, and I hardly notice it. I think the regular wood may have been too contrasting. The only problem I had with the Blue was resale value. I didn't want a color that would possibly turn into a fad, and later be unwanted. Makes for a hard resale, but the flip side to that coin is that it could be a rare color that everyone wants to get a hold of and may help resale. Hope that helps you out.

Thats Mr. Hyde's ride? TIIIIIIITE haaha.. i shoulda got blue... damn! LOL... I was totally debating between ABP and WDP when I bought mine and ended up with a white one.. just cuz I think white might look better in the long run.. like maybe after 5 years when the blue isn't popular anymore? uuggghhh only if I had money I'd get a blue AND a white haha.. those are both awesome colors... does anyone have a WDP with the body kit? I wanna see what it looks like before i get my kit =)

I donno...I think that any color on the TLS looks great. Aegean blue and BLK are great colors if you have time to clean it once a week. I chose silver because I know I will go crazy over lil scratches or swirls all over my car if I bought a dark colored car. White looks awesome, but I already have a white car so I wanted a change. But, I love my silver!! Always looks so clean!

Just got my TLS the other week. Love it so far. The only two cars at the dealer were Aegean blue and black. The black was nice but I went with the blue. So far no regrets.

Get WDP. Even when it is dirty, it looks reasonably clean; at least when compared with any of the dark colors.

1) Silver
2) Blue
3)Black

But get the dark interior unless you are a clean freak.
