I've got a tuned V-AFC and since it is connected to the ECU should I disconnect it before I take it in to the Dealer? They haven't ever given crap for having the CAI, echaust or the headers and I'm sure that all the techs know about the V-AFC. What should I do? If I do disconnenct the AFC unit will all the settings be erased?

This same thing happened to me tonight. I was cruising down the Toll Way at about 65mph and went to accelerate to pass. The car made this loud noise, RPM shot way up and it felt like I had slammed on my brakes. It was pretty scary! Once off the highway, the car was shifting pretty strange.
How long before it finally goes out? I plan on dropping it off Sunday night infront of their service department.
Are they going to give me crap for having all Comptech stuff on the car? Everything is bolt on; no chips or reprogramming stuff.
