Hi Guys!! I want to do some neon lights(Steet Glo) Under My Car but im worried about eventual eletic problems i used to have a blazer and had alot of after market things done to it (system, foglights, radio, strobes etc) after i got all that done i had tons of eletric problems and i found that the installers i went to didnt know what the fcuk they were doin and i hasd to have all the wores under my dash rewired total cost to me $2,000 Ouch!!! That still hurts any way if i were to get it done and this time done right does any one thing ill have electric probles and anyone who knows about this stuff do u have any pointers so that i can educate myself on this stuff cause i really want to know whats bein done to my car especially know the place I go now Zippos in Belleville NJ is excellent but i would like to know what something like that entails..................thanx:wow:

Ron (streeteffectz) on this board has a place in NJ and from what other members have posted (and from what I've seen in his posts), he does top-quality work. Do a search for the user name streeteffectz and decide for yourself.

I agree...talk to streeteffectz, the zippos by me isn't that great and I don't really trust them all that much. The quality of work is def worth the money.

Personally, when I see Street Glo's, I immediately think "rice." But whatever floats your boat, man.

Well, I have to tell you I have had them on my 2003 Agean Blue TLS for about 4 months now and have had no electric problems. I also have TV, DVD, and Playstation 2. and thus far knock on wood.. All running great..

and ok.. so maybe the neon is a bit rice, but it looks really hot at night, and I couldn't even tell you how many female heads turn when I roll up with them on.

PS. I will be at the meet in Menlo Park next weekend, so just come over and u can check them out on my car.

I had them put on at a place near my house in Kearny. They cost $300.00. I am not sure if that is the price for everyone or he gave me a better price, because he is going to be putting in my headers, exaust, and NOS.

email me if u want more info. i will work on getting you the name and number

nym31mp,
don't know what your electrical experience is with cars. But crutchfield has some basics books (mostly car stereo, but it relates). I think if you buy something, you get them for free or you can call them and ask them if they'll send 'em to you.
Neon ? Your ride, your decision.
