i was driving to work and i scraped my back left stock rim on a curb! It's a pretty deep cut/scratch. Anyone know how to remove it so it looks like new or where i can get that one rim replaced??? i'll post a pic when i get home from work.

 

Welcome to the scratched-rim club. I had the same problem while I was doing the parallel parking but the scratches I have were not that bad. Just gotta remember to stay away from the g*d d*** curb.

try some curb feeler untill you learn to drive J/K really! trust me i've got 2 chromies with curb rash "It wuznt mea" really i didnt do it but i feel your pain.

 

There are a few places around that will repair 'curb rash' for about $100 a rim plus the shipping back and forth. The name of one of the companies that does it was posted on this board about a year ago. You could try doing a search to see if you can find it. Otherwise just do an internet search using ww.google.com and I am sure you will find a list of quite a few places. Only thing is you'll have to have the tire removed from the rim for shipping and you'll be driving on your spare tire for probably 2+ weeks.

 

Man, all four of mine are curbed and I cal myself a "driver". I've really gotta get my act together before I put some 18's on it.

 

After a year and a half of ownership I curbed one of my rims this past weekend! What a pissa!

I did bend the sh!t out of two of them in my accident earlier in the year during a snow storm so I guess that counts as curbing them also! I got them replaced though.
