if you get Comptech then they should not void your warrenty... comtech works with Acura.

As far aw warranty goes, check out the FAQ on the left. It talks aobut the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

Insurance, I am not sure. Just give your agent a call. Do you have that many floods where you live??

Comptech does not work for Acura nor Honda, they are an independent company that make aftermarkets partsfor Honda/Acura.

hey! this is TL Discussion, not Accord Discussion

j/k

Seriously, for a repair normally covered to be denied, basically the dealer would have to prove that the modification caused the damage or was the reason for the repair. It will not void your entire warranty (except for maybe NOS as that can cause a LOT of headaches and the dealer may just go "uh, no way!" when it comes to an engine repair)

as for floods- is 1 or 2 inches going to make that much of a difference if you get caught in one? I tend to think you'd be screwed lowered or not lowered. I don't know how lowering a car would affect how an insurance company looks at flood damage.

They should cover it. my gf car was drop about 3in. and she also had a Aem intake in it. She totaled her car one day from her intake sucking up water into her engine and the insurnce payed for it. It depends on ur insurance company..if the wanna be an assh@@ to you or not. My gf has been with statefarm for years and they are easy with her.
