Question I N T A K E

http://autocarparts.com/search/resul...=8&cat=Intakes

Under AEM, the air filter ($59). Anyone put that on their 1st Gen. TL? *pref. 1996 2.5? Howd it sound/PERFORM? worth it? or the other one, the Apexi Power Intake. Which one is better/higher output, etc.???

that is just the filter, you need the whole piping in order to put on that filter, such as an aem cai or short ram, or the injen intake systems, i dont think you will be able to just install the filter piece with your existing factory hoses and stuff...im pretty sure on this...just go get the injen cold air intake...

The filter does make a big difference depending on the manufacture... But honestly i'm not that into intakes..

Blitz, Apexi, HKS filters are all pretty good.

Honestly I would just buy a aftermarket drop in filter, Apexi, HKS makes them..

i have the K&N cone filter attached directly to the rubber tubing of our air filter piping. Did a little modification and i can feel a small improvement. Well worth it for 40 bucks considering it's reusable, etc.
