I just got the full Press Intro kit for the new Accord. Have only scanned it, but some intersting stuff which will no doubt have relevance to you TL'ers.
1) The car has not exhaust manifold in the traditonal sense - it has exhausts cast into the intake manifolds which connect to the block ports. The advantage here is that they then are very close to the first catalytic converters, which allows them to light off faster for better emissions. Will make the header perf issue complex or impossible. On the other hands, they may be no more gains to be had from this area now.
2) Oil change interval is 10,000 miles. This inderscores what some of us have been saying - most people over change the oil, and that oils have gotten so much better that this is possible. Course, 5000 is more prudent and recommended for most of our driving.
I will post more as I digest the material. Dash looks very nice and overall look is fresh and less stilted.
