i got a dent in the hood!! help!

So I was dirving home one rainy night and out of nowhere a branch falls off a tree and bounces off my hood...now there's a small dent about the size of a quarter on the hood ...would it be a bad idea to just pop the hood and see if I can pop it out? or would that be bad for the paint?

Paintless dent repair

I have used paintless dent repair companies like "Dent Wizard" to repair dents without paint damage. Most of the time they can perfectly repair the dent at a very reasonable price and save you the problems of dealing with body shops and painting. Their work is usually guaranted.
I have tried repairing dents on my own with awful results. It's better to stick with the professionals. Ask your dealership and they can help you find a paintless dent repair service.
Hope this helps you!!

See where the dent is in relation to the support bars on the underside of the hood. I talked to one PDR guy and he said they can't remove dents that are above those support bars. no where to get the tools in to pop them out.

try a PDR first. just by forcing it it may cause cracking and stretching of the metal.

No noone hit it, I thought I showed you where the landscapers at my work dropped a tree branch on her. I went to Neshaminy mall with the Mrs., and they did not have one there. I actually don't know if I will be able to get there until the week after thanksgiving, but I'll definately give you a call.

bastards need to die...

Yeah, you did show me that...those bastards..they don't understand the effort that goes into protecting our chariots...hahaha.. with that little dent, it should work beautifully., as a matter of fact, if you guys come up to the KoP mall, I can prolly just meet you up there or something and you can use my wizard. Did the Mrs. fix the dent on the TL-S yet?

No she didn't, if you want to meet up sometime and we can try yours that would be cool, mine is reall shallow and hers is real small. If it works good I'll buy one cuz it sounds like it would be a good deal to have.
