after waiting for 5 weeks i finally have them on. I ordered from Tim at Ray Laks Acura. the only reason it took so long was because mine is an TL-S '03 SSM. Tim informed me that they don't have anymore SSM kits but he can paint it for me and all for the SAME price. total was around $830.

I got it today and installed it in about 2 hours. the hardest part for me was to put those little clips into the back bumper. i think there was a total of 13 of them. but other than that it was a very simple process. the kit definitely made a HUGE difference. i love the car 10x more.

i also have a question. i have the 3A racing tips on my car and i think they're 4 in. not the 3 1/2 ones. but anyways they are really close to the back kit. i'd say about 1/4 of an inch and the tips get really HOT. should i be concerned about this and get some smaller ones or do you guys think i'll be ok?

Congrats... did Tim tell you what colors he has left??? ... I really want one, but short on cash... Enjoy my friend and post directions of the install... can't seem to find them...

Sweeet! How bout some pixx?.. I don't think the heat would affect the kit, but then again you never know..

i played around with the bolts one the exhaust tips today and was able to put some more distance between the kit and the tips. So i dont think i will be having any more problems. after one day of driving a little part of the kit was black from the heat but i rubbed on it and it came off.

Tim didn't tell me what colors he has left but i'm sure if you call him he'll be able to get it painted for you like he did for me. i had to wait about 2 years to save up money but it was definitely worth it.

i found the instructions on acurainspired.com, just go there and click on forums on top and go to projects. they are in pdf format and very easy to follow.

how much did you get the OEM kit for and can you post some pictures of your car?

no drop or anything. trying to save up for school =)
but i think the car looks fine with the kit and no drop.
