I don't usually race, but...

I was coming back from the FedEx depot after picking up my new Sumi HTR+'s. I was sitting at the light at 50 and 436, heading east on 50 (for those in the area) and when the light turned green I heard the engine of the car next to me just come to life. His tires chirp-chirp-chirping as he started off. I glanced over and saw it was an older Mustang 5.0, and as if it were a reflex my pedal suddenly went from 1/2 to full.

As soon as I did that, I just started pulling on the stang. I continued to accelerate at a faster and faster pace than him. It was pathetic - I just left him eating Acura exhaust (btw - I only went up to 60 - and the speed limit there is 50). It was no competition at all.

At the next light, he didn't even attempt to keep up as I happily chirped my way on up to 60 again.

I was pumped! I love my TL-S!

Yea they're POS. But sometimes you'll run into those 1980 ones that weigh as much as a can of feathers, and have a crap load of mods under the hood.

But still...it's a Mustang. Some might be fast, but most are still crap.

Mustang still a fun car to drive around the block, but their interior really a pos. Beside I almost get myself a corba before I saw the Acura dealer cross street.

Nice kill...
I rented a convertible Mustang on my vacation in Kona, Hawaii...
That thing felt heavy, cheap, and was sluggish compared to my TL. On my last day there, I got a fricken flat in the middle of a nowhere surrounded by lava. That pretty much sums up my experience with a Mustang

Only can pick up redneck 'putang...

Very nice kill...Even better is to find one faster than you, but lead him to some corners somewhere and then pull away! Works well this the GM's too!
